LAHORE, Oct 29: FIFA Football for Hope Programme enters its third phase here at the Model Town ground on Thursday.

The Football for Hope Clinics are being conducted by FIFA’s German Technical Adviser Holger Obermann who completed the first phase at Sabit Shaheed Stadium, Rawalakot, Azad Kashmir followed by the Karachi phase.

The two phases saw the 72-year-old Kassel-born coach from the German Football Association (DFB) presenting soccer equipment such as ‘Football for Hope’ jerseys, bags and footballs to the boys and girls, besides imparting training.

The coach is being assisted in the third edition of Football for Hope Clinics by FIFA Assistant Development Officer Mohsen Gilani and Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Coordinator Akhtiarullah. — Sports Reporter
