DADU, Oct 29: Mehmood Khan Loond, son of Taluka Nazim of Dadu Nabban Khan Loond, was arrested for allegedly attacking the house of provincial education minister Pir Mazharul Haq on Wednesday.

The guards of senior provincial minister Pir Mazharul Haq and Mehmood Khan Loond exchanged hot words when Mehmood Khan Loond was crossing from near the house of Pir Mazharul Haq. The guards of senior minister go hold of Mehmood Khan Loond along with pistol and handed him over to Dadu town police.

PA to Pir Mazharul Haq, Shahmir Chehwan, informed the Town police that Nabban Khan Loond had allegedly sent his son Mehmood Khan Loond to kill the people at the bungalow of Pir Mazharul Haq. He said that Mehmood Khan Loond opened fire on the staff of the minister and tried to kill people.

Dadu police on the complaint of PA to the minister, Haq Shahmir Chehwan, registered an FIR against Mehmood Khan Loond and four unidentified persons for attacking the house of provincial minister. Police also got a five- day remand of Mehmood from a local court.

Mehmood Khan Loond, however, denied that he had attacked the house of Pir Mazharul Haq and said a fake case was registered against him.
