PESHAWAR, Oct 28: The women living in kachi abadis of the Frontier province would be given ownership rights.Gulmina Bilal Ahmad, member Awami National Party working committee, said this while addressing a meeting of the ANP woman wing here on Tuesday.

She said that they would raise the salary of female teachers working in the troubled areas of the province with the help of non-governmental organisations.

Ms Ahmad said that they were sending recommendations and proposals to the federal government in this regard, which would be approved in the near future.

She said that salaries and facilities would be provided to those female teachers who were working in the militancy-hit regions, adding that they were in close contact with international NGOs to facilitate them.
