KARACHI, Oct 25: A superb all-round performance by Jahangir Shah Khan guided Bay View High School into the semi-finals of the 1st KGA Ian Fyfe Memorial Twenty20 inter-school cricket tournament at the KGA Ground here on Saturday.

After capturing four wickets for 22, Jahangir scored an unbeaten 53 as Bay View defeated The Lyceum School by seven wickets in the last quarter-final. Chasing 119, Bay View booked their place in Monday’s semi-final against St Patrick High School with eight deliveries to spare.

St Patrick’s, meanwhile, went through after crushing Foundation Public School by 82 runs in the other quarter-final played earlier in the day.

In the first-semi-final on Sunday, Beacon House Jubilee Campus will play St Paul’s High School, who beat South Shore School by eight wickets in the second quarter-final on Friday.

Edward claimed three for 17 as South Shore were bowled out for 99. Saad Saleem hit up an unbeaten 32 to help St Paul’s reach their target for the loss of only two wickets.

St Paul’s High School beat South Shore School by eight wickets.

SOUTH SHORE 99 in 19.2 overs (Edward 3-17, Hamza Shakeel 2-12, Daniyal 2-20); ST PAUL’S 100-2 in 18.1 overs (Saad Saleem 32 not out).
