GUJRAT, Oct 23: Doctors and paramedical staff of the Aziz Bhatti Shaheed hospital on Thursday went on a three-hour strike and staged a demonstration to press police for early arrest of culprits who looted the house of Dr Ghulam Abbas Zafar in the Doctors’ Colony of the hospital.

Reports said four dacoits barged in the house of Dr Zafar and made off with cash and gold ornaments worth hundreds of thousands of rupees after taking the family members hostage at gunpoint on Wednesday.
