KARACHI, Oct 21: Three ships with containers, project cargo and crude oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, another container vessel also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Nine ships, Maersk Iowa, Maersk Novazzano, Van Coure, Beluga Indication, Wan Hai, Transport, Dolphina, Sun Rose and R.S.Z Joy, were busy in loading/unloading containers, cement, project cargo, wheat, palm oil, crude oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 92,033 tons comprising 67,024 tons of import and 25,009 tons of export tonnage was handled. Jima Kos-T and Maersk Novazzano sailed out while Maersk Iowa and Dolphina were expected to depart.
