PML-Q Legislator raps govt

Published October 20, 2008

LAHORE, Oct 19: A Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) legislator has said the government is implicating former chief minister Pervaiz Elahi in Karsaz case to divert people’s attention from its failures.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, Punjab Assembly member Amna Khan said the government had not only failed to control inflation, but also lost control over the law and order situation. She said the drama of open kutcheries by provincial ministers to solve people’s problems had flopped. She said the killers of a woman, who was murdered by her husband’s family in Shahdara, had not been arrested so far.
