SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 19: A customer shot dead a jeweler in Muridke on Sunday for failing to deliver gold ring in time.

Police said Waqas had placed an order for a ring with goldsmith Abid. He visited his shop on Sunday along with his friends and got flared up after learning the ring had not yet been prepared. During an exchange of words, Waqas whipped out a pistol and shot Abid dead.—Correspondent
