HYDERABAD, Oct 18: Industrialists of Hyderabad Site and leaders of various trade organisations have strongly protested against unannounced load-shedding being carried out by the Hesco in the Site area and other business centers.

A large number of industrialists and leaders of various trading centers here on Saturday met with the president of the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Haji Mohammad Yaqoob, and members of the Hesco advisory committee and complained that due to unannounced load-shedding of longer durations, industrial units were lying idle and they had to face the burden of labour charges without producing anything.

They said that the Hesco never informed the site industrialists about load-shedding schedule as a result of which the industrialists were unable to chalk out their production programme.

The president of the chamber, Haji Mohammad Yaqoob, said that if the situation was not addressed; industrial units would cease to produce goods.
