Women’s netball

KARACHI, Oct 17: Islamia Girls College, Faisalabad, will host the eighth National Women’s netball championship next month.

The event will be organised by the Punjab Netball Association (PNA) under the auspices of the Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Trust (PST) and District Netball Association, Faisalabad.

The championship would be held from Nov 19 to 21.

Fourteen registered teams from all over Pakistan, namely, reigning-champions Sindh, Punjab, NWFP, Balochistan, Islamabad, Fata, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Army, Police, Wapda, Railways, Navy, Lahore Grammar School and City School, Lahore, would take part in the event.

All the teams, comprising 12 players each, are requested to confirm their participation with the PNF no later than Oct 30.—Sports Reporter
