Two cops shot dead

FAISALABAD, Oct 16: Some occupants of a car bearing the registration plate of MNA gunned down two police constables in the Balochni police station precinct on Thursday.

Head constable Muhammad Nawaz and constable Ubaidullah signalled a car near Pul 65, Balochni. The unknown car riders opened fire on the policemen who suffered injuries and breathed their last in hospital.

Source said some area people told the police that a car used by criminals had a registration plate inscribed with MNA.—Staff Correspondent
