Polio cases

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 14: Two polio cases have been reported from rural areas of tehsil Sharaqpur, some 40 kilometres away from here, on Tuesday.

The victims were identified as seven-year-old Tahira, of Mandyawala, and two-and-a-half-year-old Habib, of Mirpur.

A local health official, Ali Raza Jilani, told Dawn that Tahira and Habib had been given medication and they had recovered up to 80 per cent.
