ISLAMABAD, Oct 9: A note found on Thursday at the scene of the suicide bombing at the police complex warned that more terrorist attacks would follow.
The two-page note was found by an intelligence official amid the rubble of the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) building, where a large number of newsmen and security and intelligence officials had gathered after the blast.
The first page of the note was written in Urdu and the second in Pashto from Tehrik-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an official said.
The intelligence official, who found the note, went through it in front of media, tempting reporters to find out what it contained.
Although the intelligence official told Dawn he could not share contents with the media, he called Pashtoon police constable Khalid and asked him to translate it. According to the translator, the note said: “We invite you to settle issues with us otherwise we will continue to follow this difficult path”.
The note was neither signed nor did it mention the name of its writer.
