Two thieves shot dead

KHAIRPUR, Oct 8: Two thieves were killed by villagers near Hussain Bux Naro village in the Kotdiji area late on Tuesday night.

Four armed men entered the house of one Abdul Ghafoor in Hussain Bux village and took away his buffaloes. In the meantime, the inmates woke up and raised hue and cry.

The villagers followed the thieves and opened fire on them which was returned by the fleeing thieves. As a result two men, believed to be thieves, died.

Police also reached the place of incident, took the bodies into custody and removed them to Taluka Hospital of Kotdiji.

A woman Ms Jawai identified the bodies which were of her sons namely Dilsher and Mohammad Ali Jafri, residents of Kandhkot area.
