PESHAWAR, Oct 8: At least four persons were killed and as many injured in an armed clash between two groups over a land dispute in Hindki Daman Dauzai area here on Wednesday.

Police said two rival groups, one led by Khawas Khan and the other by Habib Khan had developed some serious differences over a piece of land in the area, which led to the bloody clash.

Two of the dead were identified as Ghulam Khan and Fazal Rabbi, while names of the rest of the people could not be ascertained.

All the injured persons were rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital, where the condition of one Ihsan Gul was stated to be serious.

A complainant Mir Mohammad son of Safi Ahmad accused Imdad Khan, Bakhshish, Madad Khan, Habib, Ismail, Muhib, Kamil Khan, Manzoor, Zahoor and Dilroz for the killing.

A police official said that a case against the accused was registered at Daudzai Police Station, but the other group had so far not lodged complaint against the people involved in the killing of the rest of the people.

He said that no one had so far been arrested however the injured persons were under observation at the hospital. —Bureau Report
