36 traffickers held

LAHORE, Sep 28: Gujjarpura police claimed on Sunday to have arrested 36 drug pushers and gamblers and recovered drugs, liquor, stake money and illegal weapons from their possession.

According to a handout, police nabbed 16 drug-peddlers and recovered 1.5kg heroin, two kilo charas, 300 bottles of liquor and illegal weapons from them.

Around 20 drug-peddlers were also netted and Rs200,000 stake money, cell phones and other valuables were recovered from their possession.
