WANA, Sept 26: A local tribesman was killed and four Taliban militants were injured when they clashed in the Shakai area of South Waziristan Agency on Friday.

Sources said that a group of Taliban led by local commander Tehsil Khan acting on a complaint lodged with them by a tribesman raided the house of Mohammad Ali Sperkai Wazir to arrest him in Shakai, but he resisted and exchanged firing with them.

During the firing, four Taliban were wounded. They were taken to a local military hospital for treatment. Later, more Taliban reached Shakai and attacked the house of Mohammad Ali, killing him on the spot.
