A.O. Blues reach semi-finals

KARACHI, Sept 20: Ejaz Ahmed picked three wickets and Faraz Patel hit a solid unbeaten half-century as A.O. Blues stormed into the AKG Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament semi-finals, beating Ali Sports by seven wickets at the AKG Ground on Friday.

Faraz banged six boundaries and a six in his 60 not out and Adeel Anjum made 33 as A.O. Blues reached the target of 111 in 15.2 overs for the loss of three wickets.

Earlier, Ejaz Ahmed claimed three wickets for 15 and Fahim Ahmed took two for 35 as Ali Sports were restricted to 110-8 in their stipulated 20 overs. Mubashir Ahmed cracked five fours in his 36.
