KARACHI, Sept 19: Hyderi Baloch thrashed Gharib Nawaz Dalmia 3-0 in the KASB Premier League Football’s 34th match played here at the CDGK Stadium on Thursday night.

The beginning of the match saw Gharib Nawaz generating much pace through good understanding and coordination between their attack comprising Khalid Baloch, Mohammad Saeed, Ahmed Sultan and Sajid. But many of their fine attempts failed to bear results due to too much missing inside the box.

Hyderi Baloch though didn’t make the same mistake. Their first goal came when striker Mohammad Imran converted a pass from inside the penalty box in the 27th minute.

The 42nd minute saw Gharib Nawaz’s striker Khalid Baloch miss another good chance at scoring and restoring parity with the score remaining 1-0 at half-time.

The second session witnessed more missing by Gharib Nawaz’s strikers. The 55th minute saw their midfielder Ghulam Akbar failing to convert yet another opportunity even though he only had Hyderi’s goalkeeper Murad Bakhsh in his way. The ball went out after bouncing off the left-side bar.

The 61st minute saw Hyderi Baloch scoring their second goal when left-winger Shehroz Khan swiftly dribbled away midfielder Riaz Ahmed’s through pass to take it inside the box where his powerful shot towards the goal left no chance of stopping it for Gharib Nawaz’s goalkeeper Raja Ijaz.

The match also saw the scoring of the tournament’s 100th goal in the form of Hyderi’s third one scored by Sheroz Khan through a penalty kick awarded by match referee Siraj Talib during injury time due to a hand ball infringement in the 90th minute.

The win gives another three points to Hyderi, taking them to the second slot where it joins the previous match’s winner Maymar Sports on the points table. Meanwhile, Gharib Nawaz has four points from their five matches.
