Hot weather claims life

KARACHI, Sept 14: The excessive heat wave which has gripped the city for the past few days claimed a life of an unidentified punter in the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday. The body of the deceased who appeared to be 60 plus was handed over to Malir Cantt police by the Deputy Secretary of the KRC, Ali Akbar Shah Rashdi.

Meanwhile, one of the senior-most racing connoisseurs Mahmood Ali Khan also fell unconscious and was provided comfort by the KRC staff.—A.Z
