LAHORE, Sept 11: Two Wasa workers died from suffocation and another fainted while working in a manhole near New Flats, Loco Workshop, in Mughalpura on Thursday. The workers were clearing a sewer without adopting safety measures, it is learnt.
Rescue 1122 officials said three Wasa workers were clearing a sewer when one of them fell unconscious because of toxic gases. In an attempt to save him, his two coworkers jumped into the manhole and they too fell unconscious. — Staff Reporter
