MUZAFFARGARH, Sept 10: Robbers looted a teacher’s house and injured him for resisting the robbery in Basti Pir Barkhurdar early on Wednesday morning.
Five robbers barged in Malik Faqeer Hussain’s house and held him hostage. They told him to hand them keys of his house, but he refused. They thrashed him, got keys from him and fled with Rs20,000 and five tola gold ornaments.
Hussain said he called the police, but he was told that policemen were making arrangements for fasting. — Correspondent
