Faraz steals limelight

KARACHI, Sept 6: Faraz Ahmed Khan gave all-round performance as Ideal Cricket Club (MHCC) defeated Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) by 42 runs in the 23rd Karachi Gymkhana Ramazan Twenty20 Cup at the KG Ground on Saturday.

Both Faraz and Mubashir Ahmed slammed 41 each to steer Ideal CC reach 185 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.

Slow left-arm spinner Danish Ahmed took three wickets for 32 runs in five overs.

SSUET in reply could only score 143-7 in 20 overs.

Faraz Ahmed grabbed three wickets for 28 runs.
