QUETTA, Sept 4: A man who had contacted the authorities in Dera Murada Jamali seeking custody of the bodies of two women killed and buried in Baba Kot area of Nasirabad disappeared on Thursday.

According to police sources, the man, who identified himself as Mohammad Murad, came to a police station in Dera Murad Jamlai and claimed that the women were his relatives. But when the judicial magistrate asked him to show his national identity card and bring two witnesses he left and did not return.

“We are looking for him,” a senior police officer town Dawn.

The magistrate asked the authorities concerned to hand over the bodies to Mohammad Murad after completing legal process if he proved that the women were his relatives.

Meanwhile, police have collected blood samples of four suspects arrested in connection with the murder of the women. They have been handed over to the crime branch in Quetta for interrogation.

Pieces of skull and samples of blood and hair of the women have been sent to a laboratory in Lahore for DNA tests.

The fate of a third woman who was whisked away by armed men is still unknown and police are looking for her and a taxi-driver who brought the three women to Usta Mohammad from Baba Kot.
