Convict hanged

SHEIKHUPURA, May 7: A convict was hanged in the Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore, on Tuesday morning.

Ijaz Dogar, resident of Kaki Virkan village, had in 1995 killed Hanif and Sakhiullah over a family feud. He was awarded death sentence by an anti-terrorism court. His all appeals were turned down by apex courts.

KILLS WIFE: A woman was killed by her husband over a family dispute in Kujar village on Tuesday.

Police said that Maqbool, along with his accomplice Ilyas stabbed his wife to death.
