KARACHI: Price control measures

KARACHI, Aug 28: Chief Secretary Fazal-ur-Rehman has asked all DCOs to ensure proper supply of essential commodities at reasonable prices, especially during Ramazan.

The tendency on the part of unscrupulous elements to raise price of essential commodities and other items require to be kept under check though proper measures, according to the directive issued on Thursday. The DCO Karachi has said that 130 daily bazaars and 50 other shopping channels would be established in the city.—PPI
