PESHAWAR, Aug 28: Four persons were killed when a truck hit an oil tanker on the Grand Trunk Road near Chamkani area on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Ismael and Sewan Khan, residents of Khyber Agency, and Fakhr Alam and Munsif, residents of Bakhsho Pull area. The oil tanker reportedly went out of order and was parked on the roadside.

The mechanics, Alam and Musafir, were busy in repairing when the speeding truck hit the vehicle. The occupants of the truck and the mechanics died in the accident.

THREE HELD: The local police claimed of arresting three notorious anti-social elements involved in cases of kidnapping for ransom, murder and highway robberies.
