KARACHI, Aug 27: Four vessels carrying containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where half a dozen ships, including H.H. Tide, Cape Ferrol and Hanjin Qingdao to unload and load containers, Sanic to offload phosphate and Bengal Orchid and Lalazar, oil tankers were berthed on Wednesday.

Four ships, Mol Admiration, Cape Ferrol, Oram Blossom and Iran Rajai departed on Wednesday, while Hanjin Qingdao, Noor-e-Medina, H.H. Tide, Gingko, Lalazar and Sea Princess are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 77,278 tons comprising 16,273 tons of export tonnage and 61,005 tons of imported cargo was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Soon Fu, Tenth Ocean, Rhoneborg and Eric G. Gibson with containers.
