Shootout takes three lives

KHAIRPUR, Aug 26: Three people were killed in a clash allegedly over a matrimonial dispute in Tall Bhando in Pir Jo Goth area on Monday.

Reports said that armed motorcyclists came to Tallo Bhando to kill Nazir Maitlo for marrying the woman of his choice four years back but he had left the place before they reached there.

The motorcyclists opened fire on villagers killing Nazim Maitlo. Villagers with the help of Tallo Bhando police picket surrounded the armed men and an exchange of fire took place, killing two attackers on the spot.

Pir jo Goth police also reached the place of incident and brought the bodies to Rural Health Centre. Body of Nazim Maitlo was taken by relatives after post-mortem.
