KARACHI, Aug 26: Three ships to load/offload containers, palm oil and diesel oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, five more ships carrying containers, crude oil, furnace oil and iron ore also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, Lana, Christina, Neptune, Mare Atlantic, Sky Ace-I, Vanguard Viking-I and AI-Soor-II, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, phosphoric acid, carbon oil, palm oil, furnace oil and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 43,113 metric tons comprising 37,665 tons of import and 5,448 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Vanguard Viking-I, Lana and Neptune sailed out while Sky Ace-I and AI-Soor-II were expected to depart.
