Body found in garbage container

LAHORE, Aug 16: The body of an unidentified man was found in a City District Government Lahore garbage container when it threw garbage at a dumping site near Saggian Bridge on Saturday.

Edhi officials said the CDGL officials picked skip from Dil Muhammad Road near Diyal Singh College to remove it to the dumping site near Saggian Bridge. During dumping, the officials saw a body and informed the Edhi Ambulance and the Islampura police. The body was later taken to the city morgue for an autopsy.

According to police, the man appeared to be in 40s bore torture marks on his body. The police suspected that unidentified assailants threw his body in the skip to conceal their crime.
