2 die in separate incidents

JACOBABAD Aug 15: Two people were killed and another was injured in two different incidents in the jurisdiction of Mouladad police station here on Friday.

A speedy car collided with a motorcycle on the bypass road as a result of which 20-year-old Ashfaq Ali, son of Habibullah Shah, was killed on the spot while his co-rider Abdullah Shah sustained injuries. The car driver managed to escape.

Police rushed to the spot and shifted the deceased and the injured to Civil Hospital Jacobabad.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

In other incident, 28-year-old Jamil Ahmed Khoso was going to Khair Wah village in the jurisdiction of Mouladad police station when four armed tribesmen intercepted him and opened fire at him with TT pistols. He died on the spot. The attackers managed to escape.—Correspondent
