Villagers protest power cut

SANGHAR, Aug 15: people of Juma Khan Talpur village staged a demonstration outside the Hesco executive engineer office here on Friday to protest against power failure since past four days.

The villagers blocked the Sanghar-Nawabshah road and raised slogans against Hesco.

Hyder Talpur, Haji Allah Dino and others said that power supply to their village was disconnected four days ago, though they had paid all the electricity bills.

They said that they had showed their paid bills to the SDO of Jhol sub-division and other officials concerned but no one was paying any heed.

Instead, the Hesco officials had removed electric metres, wires and other material, they claimed.
