LAHORE, Aug 14: A lucky few hundred visitors to the Pakistan-India border on Thursday were treated to a top class folk music show, featuring collaboration from the two countries.
Imtiaz Alam, secretary general of South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA), the organisation that organised the event, said: "We organised this to bring people together and to express solidarity with the people of India. We want peace and not war."Similar thoughts were expressed by Gurindher Singh, Punjabi journalist from India.—IsSam Ahmed
