SUKKUR, Aug 14: A man fell victim to old enmity between two groups of Unnar community in Jado Kalhoro village near Garhi Yasin late on Wednesday night.

Reports said that Manzoor Ahmed Unnar was going home, when some unknown armed men shot him dead and fled. Police moved the body to the nearest hospital and on a complaint lodged by Mehboob Unnar registered a case against eight people.

The villagers claimed that the murder was an offshoot of a four-year-old dispute between two groups of Unnar community, which started over a piece of land and had so far claimed four lives on both sides.
