KASUR, Aug 13: At least 22 villages in this district have been inundated by floodwaters of the river Sutluj.
The river had a medium level flood on Wednesday which overflowed from its banks, destroying crops standing over thousands of hectors of land in Bhadia Usman, Ratnaywala, Rangaywala, Bunbohdla, Nayakey, Valaywal, Olakhkay, Sheikhpura, Bheikheywind, Hakowala, Kamalpur, Nagar Emanpur, Kalunjer, Mustaywala, Mabokay, Head Singhwala, Najabat, Rajowal Noh, Cchabar, Kothi Fateh Muhammad, Shahbazkay Jhughay and Kali Sokal villages. —Correspondent
