LAHORE, Aug 11: Jamaat-i-Islami Secretary-General Munawwar Hasan has opposed a safe passage for President Musharraf and called for his open trial after impeachment.

Talking to different delegations at Mansoora on Monday, the JI leader said the departure of Musharraf had now become sure, but there was no justification for allowing him a safe passage in view of the serious nature of allegations against him.
