KARACHI: Trader shot dead

KARACHI, Aug 9: A 50-year-old man was shot dead in Ibrahim Haidri on Saturday.

Police said that the victim, Jaffer Bengali, son of Alam Ali, was a trader of crabs.

They said the man was on his way to his workplace in the morning when unknown motorcyclists opened fire killing him instantly.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Sources at the hospital said that the victim had received two bullets in his upper torso from a close range.

The Ibrahim Haideri police have registered a murder case against unknown attackers on the complaint of the victim’s son.
