PESHAWAR, Aug 8: Coalition partners in the Frontier province will move a resolution in the provincial assembly on Tuesday calling for early impeachment of President Pervez Musharraf.

Provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain said the decision was taken at a four-party meeting held at the Frontier House on Friday. It was attended by Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, senior ministers Bashir Ahmed Bilour and Rahimdad Khan, Awami National Party’s provincial chief Afrasiab Khattak, Pir Sabir Shah of the Pakistan Muslim League-N and Leader of the Opposition in the assembly Akram Khan Durrani.

The meeting endorsed the decisions taken by the central leadership of the coalition in Islamabad.
