LARKANA, Aug 5: Chairman Sindh National Front Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has said that the recent anti-dacoit operation in Kutcha area is a failure and claimed that SHOs and SPOs posted in Naudero and Ketti Mumtaz police stations are serving dacoits.

Mr Mumtaz Bhutto in a statement issued here on Tuesday said that the Ketti Mumtaz was the name of a police station located in Kutcha area. The agriculture farm of Z.A. Bhutto, government forests and land of different communities were located in the jurisdiction of this police station, he said and added that since past two-and-half years a gang of dacoits was staying in government and private forests.

He said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, former chief minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim and high ranking police officers and even SHOs had knowledge about the presence of dacoits in these forests.

He blamed the police for burning thick forests causing vast damages, picking up innocent villagers and keeping them in illegal detention at undisclosed locations.
