KARACHI, Aug 4: Two ships carrying containers and diesel oil were accommodated berths on Sunday, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, another ship, Christina, to load 16,000 tons of cement also arrived at the outer anchorage. Six ships, Saudi Diriyah, QSM Dubai, Leopard-B, Ocean Beauty, Shrike and AI-Soor-11, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, rice, coke and diesel oil.

A cargo volume of 62,097 tons comprising 58,449 tons of import and 3,648 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was slow as only Saudi Diriyah left the port while AI-Soar-II was expected to depart.
