SHIKARPUR: Two cargo bogies derail

SHIKARPUR, Aug 3: Two cargo bogies attached to the Karachi-bound Zargoon passenger train derailed near Habibkot railway junction on Sunday.

Railway traffic was suspended after the derailment of the bogies.

According to the Railways authorities, the track was being cleared for traffic. The train was on the railway line near Habibkot station.

The cause of derailment could not be ascertained.

BREACH: A 20-foot breach developed in Mungar Wah near Ilyas village Garhi Yasin taluka on Sunday.

The villagers plugged the breach on self help basis.

Paddy crop standing over dozens of acres of land was submerged.
