Explosives seized

OKARA, Aug 2: Police on Saturday seized explosives, including a hand-grenade and detonators, on the disclosure of a robberies’ suspect.

The Satgrah police had arrested Mohammad Yasin, of Islampura, in some robbery cases. During interrogation, he disclosed about the explosives on which a team led by Sub-Inspector Sarwar Ali along with bomb disposal technicians raided a deserted place in Renala Khurd tehsil and seized five detonators, one hand-grenade, two high explosive bars and 2.5-foot safety fuses and other explosive material. The police registered a case under Section 3/4 Explosives Act, 1884.
