Thieves take away cash, valuables

LAHORE, Aug 2: Thieves took away cash and valuables worth Rs900,000 from a house in Racecourse police precincts on Saturday.

Police said unidentified people broke into the house of Khan Zaman Khan and made off with cash, jewellery and valuables.

Three robbers barged in the house of Aslam in Maskeenpur and took away Rs60,000, 10-tola gold ornaments and two cell phones.

Two armed men stopped Muazzam Khan in Naulakha police precincts and snatched Rs205,000 in cash from them.

Two gun-toting stopped Syed Tanveer in Shahdara police precincts and deprived him of Rs17,500 and a cell phone.
