QUETTA, July 31: Activists of the Balochistan National Party (Mengal) held a demonstration outside the offices of the Water and Sewerage Authority (Wasa) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Thursday in protest against disruption of water supply and low gas pressure.

The protesters raised slogans against Wasa, SSGC and provincial government.

Addressing the protesters, BNP-M leader Ghulam Nabi Marri alleged that Wasa officials had been ignoring complaints about disruption in water supply in the Sariab road area. He criticised the SSGC for doing nothing to solve the problems of low pressure of gas supplied to consumers.
