DERA ISMAIL KHAN, July 28: Unidentified armed persons snatched a trailer carrying goods for Nato forces in Afghanistan at gunpoint on Dera-Bannu Road on Monday.

However, they later left the vehicle in Kohat after taking away all the goods.

The trailer bearing registration number Peshawar C-88813 was on way to Afghanistan from Karachi when seven armed men intercepted it near the Global gas plant on Dera-Bannu Road on the jurisdiction of Yark police station.

They covered the faces of both the drivers with cloth and dropped them near Bannu Adda and took away the vehicle.

However, the vehicle was later found empty in the limits of Sadr police station in Kohat.
