KARACHI, July 23: The Sindh Women’s Football Association is holding trials for the Sindh women’s soccer team for Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) forthcoming national women’s championship in August.

This was stated by Sadia Sheikh, general-secretary Sindh Women’s Football Association, on Wednesday.

“All women soccer players, including the club team members are invited to come for the trials,” she said.

The Karachi trials, to be supervised by Sindh Football Association Chairman Abbas Baloch, selector Hassan Baloch, Vice President Sindh Women’s Football Association Danishmand Farooqui and Sadia Sheikh with assistance from Ms Riffat and Ms Abida of Karachi Kickers Club will be held at the National Coaching Centre on Saturday, July 26, from 9.00 to 11.00am.

Trials for girls from the Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas region will take place at the Wapda House in Hyderabad from 4.00 to 6.00 pm on August 2. Hassan Baloch, Sadia Sheikh and Mr Azam, Secretary, Hyderabad Football Association will supervise.
