ABBOTTABAD, July 17: Pakistan cricket team’s physical fitness and training camp will be set up at Abbottabad from July 22-28, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials confirmed on Thursday.

Team coach Geoff Lawson along with PCB officials visited the venue of camp and expressed complete satisfaction over the arrangements here.

All the thirty selected players will be assembling at Abbottabad on July 21 and will be lodged at Pakistan Army School of Physical Fitness, Kakul which was also the venue of Pakistan cricket team camp last year.

Earlier, a two-week camp was planned but it has now been cut down to one week and only three practice sessions will be held at the Abbottabad Cricket Ground.

Lawson was briefed about the venue and the arrangements for the camp by local PCB official Shoukat Gul Khan Jadoon and Regional Director of the academy Naseem Fazal.
