LAHORE, July 11: Punjab finance and planning & development minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has directed Tevta to study technical courses being offered in China and India and accordingly revise the courses being offered locally. He gave these directives during a briefing given to him by Tevta authorities here on Friday.
The step, he said, was necessary against the backdrop of the government’s decision to introduce new courses at technical institutions for both male and female students this year.
The new courses, he hoped, would be helpful in finding better jobs opportunities to the students as well as enabling them to be self-employed.
