Man shot at, injured

ISLAMABAD, July 11: A man was shot and injured by some unidentified persons here on Thursday, police said. The injured was identified as Azhar Shams, 32, resident of I-8/3.

The incident took place near his house, where some persons attacked him and shot him twice in his legs. The culprits escaped from the scene leaving behind the injured, lying on the road.

The injured was taken to Al-Shifa Hospital where his condition was stable.

The police said that the family members were reluctant to lodge a complaint and told police that they did not want to go for any legal process.—Staff Reporter
